Through your gifts of time, talent and treasure, we are able to advance the mission of St. Louis Catholic School. By building and nurturing relationships with alumni, current parents, parents of alumni, friends and the community, our goals are accomplished through The Heart of St. Louis Annual Fund, signature events throughout the year and other initiatives. 

• The Heart of St. Louis Annual Fund: support the operations of the school and advancing the mission of Catholic education at SLCS. By making a gift to the Annual Fund, you are making an investment in the life of SLCS that has a direct impact on our students and their educational experience. All non-profit, educational institutions rely on charitable giving from their alumni base, current families, friends and community partners. These gifts help us bridge the estimated $2,500 gap between the cost of tuition and the true cost of educating each student. Give Now:

• In-Kind Gifts: a donation of tangible property or services other than securities/cash, we accept donations that can be used at our school’s annual Green & White Night Gala, Cougar Classic Golf Tournament and many more fundraising events. Examples include gift cards, baskets for auctions, tickets to an event or destination, use of family vacation property, the list goes on and on!

• Honor and Memorial Gifts: honor or memorialize a loved one by giving a gift to SLCS. These gifts are designated for scholarship and/or financial assistance, unless otherwise specified.

• Planned Gifts: Planned gifts or deferred gifts allow you to make a significant gift to SLCS now that will benefit the school in the future. A planned gift can be as simple as remembering SLCS in your will. There are also gifts which include bequest, life insurance, trusts, retirement accounts and gifts of stock and property. We are called to be faithful stewards of our families, finances and other blessings God has so generously given to us. • Matching gift programs are corporate-sponsored employee benefits that an employer will give to an educational institution or other non-profit. Many companies will double or even triple an employee’s donation to SLCS. If your company offers a matching gifts program, simply pick up a matching gift form from your human resources office and mail it along with your contribution to the SLCS Development Office. 

•  Other Ways: The Development Office, in conjunction with HSA and Booster Club, provides many volunteer opportunities for parents, alumnae, alumnae parents and friends of SLCS to be involved in school life. Annual events sponsored by HSA also bring the school community together throughout the year.
